On May 22nd, OCEANKING and bound4blue co-hosted the Technical Dialogue on Design, Class and Results of Wind-Assisted Propulsion—an insightful event that brought together shipping professionals, technology providers, and classification experts to explore the implementation and performance of wind-assisted propulsion systems.

The event offered a deep dive into the design, classification, and real-world performance of wind-assisted propulsion technologies, presented through detailed case studies, third-party evaluations, and regulatory perspectives. Discussions centered around the role these systems play in improving energy efficiency and supporting the maritime industry’s decarbonization efforts.
