Tanker Technology “Thematic” Event
OCEANKING with the support of Newsfront / Naftiliaki, as Media Coordinator, organized its first specialized, “thematic” event on TANKER TECHNOLOGY on Thursday, 18 June 2015, at 09:00 at Athens Ledra Hotel.
At this event the companies, represented by Oceanking, with systems and applications for oil tankers, presented their unique tanker solutions, to satisfy recent and future relevant regulations, with specific reference to operational, installation and maintenance issues such as:
o Total cargo tank handling solutions for tankers, by MUSASINO
o Tank venting, PV ECO valve and VOCON system, for reduced cargo emissions, by PRES-VAC
o Tank washing systems and ECO solutions for reduced slops, by POLAR MARINE
o Air conditioning and ventilation systems , by HI-AIR KOREA
o Deck machinery, windlass and mooring winches for tankers, by MACGREGOR PUSNES
o Loading computer for versatile cargo handling and stability for tankers, by KOCKUMATION
o “Washmaster” tank cleaning solutions and reporting application, by MUSASINO and POLAR MARINE
Μain speaker at the event was Mr. Stavros Hatzigrigoris, Managing Director of Maran Gas Maritime Inc. and President of MARTECMA, who expressed the view of ship-owner/operator, described the Tanker market conditions, and pointed out the importance of selecting the appropriate equipment/systems, giving the parameters to be taken under consideration for the Maker selection
After the presentations optional workshop sessions, took place, available for the delegates who discussed in more detail specific issues.
